Our little Rolly Polly!

Since Kaylen learned to roll over several weeks ago, we can't keep her from rolling! She wants to roll during diaper changes, while eating, during tummy time, when she's in her swing, in the middle of the night... she is all over the place. I will put her on her back in the center of the crib, and will come in an hour later and she will be in a totally different place and on her stomach fast asleep! I'm convinced she wiggles so much in her sleep that she moves herself without even knowing it! I was a little freaked out the first time I came into her room in the morning and she was on her stomach sleeping! We also moved the coffee table out of the living room so Kaylen will have more room to roll. We put her in the middle of the blanket and she rolls all over the room. It's like it's her goal to try and get OFF the blanket! Too funny. We are just glad she is so active. Her teacher at daycare tells us she is active and busy all day, and is always happy! I love hearing that!

Our Little Talker

Lately, Kaylen has become increasingly more vocal. We will talk to her and she will "talk" back. It's so cute, and she makes little facial expressions too while she is "talking".

Kaylen Rolled Over!

Well, our lives are changed forever... Kaylen rolled over! She's been working on it for a few weeks, and finally got it! The look on her face as she did it was priceless. It was the look of accomplishment. Here's a video:

The past weekend we went to Tulsa for a wedding. While I was there I got to have lunch with my friend Emily, who is visiting from China. We are so excited for her and her husband, Jason, who are having another little boy in February! On Sunday, we got to have lunch with all the Browns. It was the first time most of them had met Kaylen, so we were really excited to meet with everyone! All and all it was a really fun weekend full of friends and family, and a moment in Kaylen's life we will never forget! Those are the best kinds of weekends!
